CORAL. CORAL is an electronic resource management system initially started by the University of Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Libraries. The first module, Licensing, was released as open source software in the summer of 2010 and we have continued releasing new modules since then.

The CORAL Steering Committee is excited to announce the release of CORAL 3.0.1, which includes a wide variety of bug fixes requested from the 3.0 release last summer. CORAL’s open development community, institutional product support, and modular implementation approach allow for leaner release cycles that are more transparent and can meet an increasingly diverse array of ERM needs. Of course, there are far more ways to look at easing ERM than this dichotomy of centralization or integration.

CORAL has two choices for authentication – either to tie in to your university/library’s authentication system or to install the CORAL Authentication Module.
